Unlike most everyone one the planet, I love Mondays! For one Justin only gets every other weekend off, but when he does its a long weekend and so this means only 3 more work days until we get our 3 day weekend!
This is also the day I go nanny for one of my favorite families ever! They have six kids under the age of six, two biological kids and 4 foster kids, I wish I could show you pictures of them they are so cute! ( but that would be creepy since they aren't my kids) I have truly fallen in love with this family, I love how I am always welcomed into their home with shouts of "Sunnie is here!" " Mom its Sunnie!!" As if they didn't expect me or I am a long lost friend being reunited with them.
The main thing I have grown to love and respect is the love their mother has for them, she has the most patience and love I have ever seen a mother have, especially since she has a huge number of kids at a low number if ages.
She doesn't know this and probably wont read this, but I have learned a lot from her I have watched the way she disciplines them in love and never gets angry, she understands that they still need to be taught and guided and allows them to learn at their own pace. If and when I do ever become a mommy myself, she is truly my role model.
In a very large way she is mirroring Christ's love for us, He understands that we are not done learning, that He still needs to teach us, and that He allows us to grow at our own pace and doesn't get mad or fed up when we do wrong or make a mistake.
OK onto another Monday excitement, Kittie comes today! Who wouldn't love Monday when you get to see your sister and very best friend?! She is staying with us until Friday. She also just recently got Engaged so we are going to do my favorite thing ever this whole week, and that is wedding planning!! Who hoo
Also this specific Monday is my sister Sara's 25th birthday! Happy Birthday Sara!
But the main reason we should all love Mondays,
Psalm 118:24: This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!

ReplyDeleteI want you to know that I had to create my own stinkin blog to be able to comment... then it took to me to a start now! page thing and I had to make a blog post thingy...then it took me to an about me section, which I had to fill out... and finally I could search for you.. it took me fourty three minutes and 28 seconds to figure out how to find you... which included searching your name, searching Justin's name, accidently becoming a follower of my own page.. and then just quiting and going to facebook to click on the link to your page.
